Are Your Making 3 Deadly Mistakes that Affect Your Business and Your Life?
Tip #1 People with periodontal disease are twice as likely to develop heart disease and narrowing of the arteries.
Tip #2 Your diet is an important part of managing bacteria. Eating foods that are known to promote healthy bacteria will help you keep your teeth and gums healthy and can increase longevity.
Sugary and starchy foods promote and increase bacterial growth especially if brushing doesn’t occur within fifteen minutes after they are introduced into the mouth.
Check with toothpaste manufacturers regarding which brands of toothpaste contain sugar.
Tip #3 Bad breath (halitosis) is caused by small food particles that are wedged between the teeth which collect bacteria and give off chemicals. One of these chemicals, hydrogen sulfide, is the same compound that gives rotten eggs their characteristic smell.
If high levels of disease-causing bacteria from the mouth clog the carotid artery (the blood vessel that delivers blood to the head and brain) it could increase the risk of having a stroke.
Tip #4 Swishing with coconut oil for 20 minutes can cleanse between teeth. Do not swallow, spit the oil and germs down the drain.
